Halfling Mana Stones

Description:
A string of stone beads carved with arcane signs of halfling origin. They are made of various stones and are of different, shapes, designs, and colors.
   
Bardic Lore or Arcane Knowledge Role
10: The symbols on the stones represent various incarnations of good luck and good fortune.
15: Halfling Mana Stones are made by halfling druids by streams in Fey-ridden forest. They are said to offer good luck.
20: Buying a Halfling Mana Stone at sunrise is said to give the person who buries the stone good fortune for the day.
 
Powers
 

If the user buries a Halfling Mana Stone at sunrise, he or she will be given a luck bonus for one type of role until sunset. If the stone is dug up, a negative luck bonus of the same type is inflicted on the user for one year, so the users often hide the stones so others cannot find them. If a user buries more than one stone a day, only the last stone buried gives the user power.

The DM roles for the power of the stone at the time of burial. Even identify will not allow the user to know the power of the stone until then, and a separate role is made for each stone.

When found, 2-12 stones are often found in a bundle or as a string of beads
